Your Voice

At first there is a thought, quiet  yet there lingering and longing to grow…
next a moment then an interaction… then the thought to act wait

no, a feeling of being compelled to respond…

What is so loud in my soul that it must come out?

What could I have to say? I know now…

What is now can shift ∼

Let’s change the world!

Your turn –

  • Listen to that voice inside
  • Watch to to see what is
  • Learn what there is to learn
  • Grow to who you can be

Read again with me the excerpt of “The Summer Day” poem by Mary Oliver, then see what the answer would be for you at the end…

The Summer Day
“…I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”

—Mary Oliver
