The last weekend in August each year, my friends in Alstonville and Wollongbar (New South Wales, Australia) get together and throw an amazing Craft and Garden Fair.
It is an event to attend for sure! There are over 90 booths, an impressive group of expert speakers, a kids space and beautiful crafts. You won’t go away hungry either as there will be BBQ and a cafe.
Proceeds from the event are used locally by their club, Quota International of Alstonville-Wollongbar, for projects supporting women, children, Hearing and those with speech challenges.
Beyond all of the fun for families and friends of the Craft & Garden Fair, you can tip your hat to these folks as their goal throughout the year is to “strengthen the ties with our local youth by being active in our preschools and schools’ projects with awards and presentations and scholarships.”
