Poetry Resources

April was a great month! Thank you for coming along for the celebration. I appreciate you dropping in to read the new poetry that was written.

As  a wrap up to poetry month, please enjoy a sampling of poetry resources that are available online.

Library of Congress (Poetry and Literature) • Their poetry blog: “From the Catbird Seat”

The Library of Congress is a fabulous resource for any topic. Be sure to check out the events that they host as well as their web.

“Poem-a-Day is the original and only daily digital poetry series featuring over 250 new, previously unpublished poems by today’s talented poets each year. On weekdays, poems are accompanied by exclusive commentary and audio by the poets.”

Poetry Foundation (for kids and the kid in all of us)

“The Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry magazine, is an independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. It exists to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience. “

If you have other resources you would like to share, please let me know.

Thank you!
